FBI confirms weapons stolen during burglary of Mass. armory
WORCESTER – The FBI has confirmed weapons were stolen from a Massachusetts armory over the weekend.
The break-in occurred at the Army Reserve center on Lake Street in Worcester. The FBI and local police are now searching for the stolen weapons.
“We have entered those weapons into NCIC, a national database, and alerted our federal, state and local law enforcement partners,” FBI spokeswoman Kristen Setera said.
The FBI also said that there is no indication the break-in is related to any kind of terrorism threat whatsoever.
