Father ensures 3-year-old gets Halloween despite being stuck on plane
A child's worst nightmare: missing their favorite holiday.
A very special dad made sure his little girl would not go without her dose of trick-or-treating despite their travel plans. The three-year-old girl was in for a surprise as she boarded the Virgin America flight from Boston to San Francisco on Halloween.
According to a tweet from another passenger, her father knew his daughter was bummed to miss out on the holiday fun so he wrote his fellow passengers a note saying, “my 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight, so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her. If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween!"
OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat pic.twitter.com/vfsAcYNrhr— Stephanie Kahan (@stephaniekahan) November 1, 2016
As Molly walked down the aisle in her donut costume, she was greeted with lots of Halloween treats.
