Farmington drug investigation leads seizure of heroin, fentanyl, marijuana and more

FARMINGTON — A police investigation into the sale and possession of illegal narcotics led to the arrest of a Farmington man.

Police received tips over the last few weeks that there was drug activity in the Main Street area. Surveillance by the department also confirmed this possibility, police said.

A search warrant was applied for and granted by a New Hampshire Judge to search 474 Main St.

Police along with an area K-9 conducted the search and subsequently arrested Andrew Maniscalco III, 40.

He was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute - felony, possession of controlled drugs - felony, and possession of controlled drugs - misdemeanor.

The Farmington Police Department recovered $430 in cash, approximately 25 grams of heroin, marijuana, scales, drug paraphernalia and fentanyl patches.
