Farmington driver's sedan hit parked minivan, rolled over Tuesday morning

ROCHESTER — Police said an investigation is ongoing following a single-car rollover crash on King Street Tuesday morning.

Rochester Police, Fire, and EMS responded to 21 King Street on May 16 around 9:39 a.m. for a car accident that happened. When emergency services arrived at the scene, they found a 2010 Nissan Sentra laying on its roof.

Police said the accident occurred when the Nissan suddenly swerved and hit a parked minivan causing it to roll over.

According to Rochester Fire Department, the driver, Timothy Branden, 58 of Farmington, freed himself following the crash while his passenger needed help from emergency services to get out of the car.

Both occupants wore seatbelts and had only minor injuries. Emergency officials transported the passenger to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for precaution.
