Fallen power line most likely caused Derry brush fire

The Associated Press

DERRY (AP) - Firefighters believe a brush fire in Derry was started by a downed power line.

Firefighters arrived Thursday morning to find that the fire had reached an outbuilding and was approaching a home. The power line had fallen across a road.

No injuries were reported.

The fire was the latest in a series of brush fires across New Hampshire in dry, warm weather.
