Fallen officers memorial held in Concord on Friday

CONCORD — Fallen officers are remembered for their sacrifice. Friday, the law enforcement officer memorial service was held in downtown Concord.

This year's event comes one week after two police officers in Manchester were involved in a shooting where both were injured in the line of duty.

The names of 43 officers are etched on the walls of the memorial.

A tragic reminder of the dangers of this profession.

Today's somber celebration is a reminder that when an officer dies, that loss is felt far into the future in New Hampshire.
