Extended NH1 Forecast for Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014
High pressure moves in this weekend but a cold air mass will hang over the area, making for some chilly conditions. Highs reaching the lower forty's for both Saturday and Sunday.
Yet another wave of low pressure looks to track up the eastern seaboard for Monday. A mix of some wintry weather going into the morning commute that could make for some isolated slick spots, mainly on secondary roads I think. It looks like some very light snow and sleet will work across NH once we get past 1am overnight. Once we get to 7am/8am, much of central and southern NH should see a transition to plain old rain, however, some very light freezing rain will be possible through 10am. I think by 10am and certainly thereafter, central/southern NH should be all rain.Behind this system, arctic air filters back into the Granite State but fair skies look to return with high pressure into the beginning half of the week.
Saturday: Ample sunshine but cold, highs 33-37. Sunday: Partly sunny, little warmer, highs 38-42. Monday: Cloudy with rain and snow showers, highs 38-42. Tuesday: Sun and clouds, cold, highs 33-37. Wednesday: Mostly sunny but quite cold, highs 29-33. Thursday: Sun and clouds, highs 35-39.
