Extended NH1 Forecast for Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014

Sunday, off to a milder than usual start but as the day nears end, a cold front moves into the area. This system only looks to spark a few light rain showers in the early morning hours. Temps stay mild Sunday but the cold air behind the frontal passage gets set to move in Monday.

Colder temperatures make their way into the area for much of the week with highs in the twenties and overnight lows in the teens. This colder air mass looks to stay locked in place for much of the week. High pressure however should be in control overall so generally fair skies are expected.

Sunday: An early shower otherwise cloudy to start but becoming mostly sunny during the afternoon, mild, highs 44-48. Monday: Mostly sunny, colder, highs 33-37. Tuesday: Mostly sunny, chilly, highs 25-29. New Year's Eve: Sun and clouds, highs 25-29. New Year's Day: Sun and clouds, highs 28-32. Friday: Mostly sunny, highs 31-35.
