Exeter High student involved in armed robbery faces new charges and more jail time

BRENTWOOD - An Exeter High School student who was previously sentenced for armed robbery faces multiple new charges and has been ordered to spend his school vacations in jail.

Andru Bromfield, 18, of Stratham, pleaded guilty last August to being a participant in a robbery in December 2014. He received a suspended sentence, two years probation and served only 30 days in jail.

According to seacoastonline.com, Bromfield's new charges include DWI, reckless operation and conduct after causing an accident, disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of alcohol and facilitating a drug or alcohol house party.

He was also charged with violating his probation leading a judge to sentence him to an additional 20 days in jail during the high school's February and April vacation weeks.
