Exeter Area New Car Dealers donates brand new van to Portsmouth Food Pantry

EXETER — The Exeter Area New Car Dealers Association has donated a brand new van to the Portsmouth Food Pantry to help them with deliveries Tuesday.

“Even though our state’s unemployment rate is low and more people are working, we know that many people in our great state are still struggling below the poverty line,” said Larry Foss, president of the Exeter Area New Car Dealers. “We consider it an obligation to give back to the communities that have given us so much over the years.”

The van is valued at $40,000. In October 2014, the Exeter Area New Car Dealers donated a van to the St. Vincent DePaul Food pantry and soup kitchen in Exeter.
