Ex-NH scout master on leave from job as school bus driver after sex assault arrest


NEWFIELDS— An ex-Scout Master from the 1990's to 2006 who is currently being investigated for sexually assaulting a number of youths has now been placed on leave from his job as a school bus driver.

Police are focusing on speaking with those who have had contact with Eugene Perreault in his role as a school bus driver for Safeway Training & Transportation Services in Kingston or even as a part-time town employee in Fremont and Newfields, according to the Union Leader.

Although Perreault was arrested on Monday for one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault, he is currently free on bail.

Perreault was also removed from his post as Newfield’s health officer.
