Ex-NH Rep. Tasker waives DWI arraignment, could face bail revocation hearing soon
ROCHESTER — Former State Representative Kyle Tasker waived his arraignment for his driving while intoxicated charge on Monday morning.
Tasker was arrested on DWI charges after a three-car crash in Rochester on Gonic Road on Nov. 1 at about 5:40 p.m. He allegedly struck another car, causing a three-car accident, police said.
Tasker was currently out on bail for sex and drug charges. These charges stem back to when the mother of a 14-year-old girl filed a complaint with police in January, claiming Tasker had been soliciting her daughter for sex through Facebook. Tasker is also accused of asking the girl to perform sexual acts.
Tasker was arrested in March after an investigation lasting several weeks. July's indictment stated Tasker possessed a variety of illegal and controlled substances, including Buprenorphine, Ecstasy, hash oil, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms and cocaine.
A Rockingham County Attorney has filed a motion to revoke Tasker's bail due to violating the good behavior portion of his release. Taker was given 10 days to respond. He could potentially face a bail revocation hearing later this week.
