Even in NFL’s gloom, it is possible to find sunshine

It seems for most of this month that the NFL has been unable to make the right decision when it comes to off-field issues. In the last week, quite a few teams and players are doing the same. By now, you know Ray Rice has become a four-letter word, and Adrian Peterson is as toxic a name as can be, but it has taken the Vikings a little while – and a few lost sponsors – to figure that out. Peterson was reactivated on Monday, less than 24 hours after Minnesota was thrashed by the Patriots. We’ll call that bad decision No.
