Epping man arrested after Thursday morning standoff with police

EPPING - A standoff at a home on Jenness Road ended with the arrest of a man Thursday morning.

Daniel Paolini, 55, is charged with felony criminal threatening and two counts of simple assault.

Police responded to 121 Jenness Road at 6:28 a.m. for a domestic assault call. During that call, police were told any responding officers would be shot.

Upon arrival, officers set a up a perimeter around the home. They were able to contact Paolini using a phone and he came out of the house peacefully, police said.

Paolini is scheduled to appear in Brentwood district court on March 24.
