Enfield may see stricter firework regulations in the future

ENFIELD — Stricter regulations surrounding the use of fireworks during the day may be seen by residents of Enfield.

About a dozen residents spoke against the ongoing noise and possible pollution of fireworks in the town on Monday. The Selectboard decided to further explore drafting an ordinance that would prohibit fireworks during certain times of the day, the Valley News reported.

Residents claim that neighbors are shooting fireworks in the early morning, which is poisoning the water and presents a fire danger.
