NEWMARKET - A New Hampshire non-profit needs your help making sure every child has something to eat on weekends.
"End 68 Hours of Hunger" puts nourishing food in the hands of elementary school children to carry them through the weekend.
Volunteers purchase the food, pack the bags and deliver them to the offices of the selected elementary schools, who then hand them out to children in need every Friday.
When the program started back in 2011, it was feeding 19 local children.
Today the need has grown to more than 700 children across the Granite State.
