Elementary school in Madbury evacuated because of structural concerns
MADBURY - Another school has been evacuated because of structural concerns.
Crews were called to Moharimet Elementary School in Madbury around noon to start clearing the snow off the roof after concerns of the weight causing stress cracks. Students and staff were bused to Mast Way Elementary School in Lee.
Superintendent James Morse Sr. said the transition went smoothly and parents also said they were pleased.
Schools will be closed Wednesday to evaluate any structural damage.
