CONCORD -- Frank Edelblut says when it comes to the next election, he's "not ruling anything out."

The state representative from Wilton narrowly lost to GOP gubernatorial nominee Chris Sununu in the September 13th primary in a field with four major candidates. He conceded the next day, losing by just over 800 votes.

Edelblut immediately endorsed Sununu and Tuesday he headlined a New Hampshire GOP news conference where he criticized Democratic nominee Colin Van Ostern's business credentials.

Later, in a one-on-one interview with NH1 News, Edelblut was asked if he's thinking about running for elective office again in 2018.

"I’ll deal with that on November 9th." he answered.

Asked if he's not ruling anything out, Edelblut responded "not ruling anything out."

And while touting Sununu, Edelblut put in a plug for himself.

"I think that Chris has more business experience than Colin does, having spent his entire career in the private sector, Edelblut said.

But he added "I still think that I have a deeper resume than both of those guys."
