DUI checkpoint slated for next week in the Epping area
EPPING - In an effort to curb the increasing number of drunk driving incidents, New Hampshire State Police and Epping police have added a sobriety checkpoint to the Epping area according to a press release from Thursday.
The police said they consider it one of the best ways to handle the problem of drunk driving.
This decision was prompted by a disturbing number of people who are injured or killed in drunk driving incidents.
The checkpoint will be run by state and Epping police during the week of August 9.
