Drug Bust: 2 women facing charges after Lebanon K-9 finds 6 bags of heroin in car

LEBANON - Police say 2 women were arrested after a K-9 officer found heroin in a car they were in.

Lebanon police said they encountered a suspicious vehicle Thursday evening on Airport Road.

An officer and K-9 Briggs performed a drug sniff of the scene, and Jessica Crockwell, 32 of Lebanon, and Amanda Clapp, 32 of Springfield, Vt., were charged with drug possession after six heroin bags were found in the vehicle.

According to police, Crockwell was found to be in possession of five bags, and Clapp had one.

Crockwell, who was on probation, was held on $5,000 cash bail.

Clapp was also held on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.
