Driver sues NH town after plow truck's blade crashes into pickup

BRENTWOOD — A Nottingham resident is suing the town after being injured in a crash involving a town plow truck.

According to the lawsuit, town-employed Keith Waite was driving a town-owned dump truck with a plow blade and wing when the truck crossed the center of Barderry Lane and collided head-on with Robert Scheer's pickup truck on March 14, 2014, the Union Leader reported.

Scheer suffered injuries that included a cervical sprain/strain, lumbar sprain/strain, and a closed head injury, the suit said.

Scheer claims he incurred $2,500 worth of medical expenses and more than $3,000 in damage to his truck.
