Driver crashes into the back of NH trooper cruiser

NASHUA - A driver hit a N.H. State Trooper cruiser Friday night.

Friday night, at approximately 9:11 p.m., police said a trooper was assisting a collision in Nashua on the Everett Turnpike.

The cruiser was behind the accident to warn oncoming traffic to slow down.

Police said moments later, Jillian Popular, of Milford, crashed into the back of the cruiser.

No one was injured in the collision, and although the cruiser was damaged, it was able to be driven from the scene.

Police said Popular's vehicle was towed because of significant damage it suffered.

The Nashua Police and Fire departments assisted with the collision.

Police said it was the 23rd cruiser struck this winter.
