MANCHESTER (AP) — Police say a driver has suffered serious, life-threatening injuries after crashing first into a fire hydrant, then into a wood chipper attached to a pickup truck in Manchester.
The driver, 36-year-old Eureka Moosreiner of Manchester, was hospitalized Monday night after her vehicle was found resting against a trailer. She was the only person in it.
Police say speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
