Driver charged with DUI after hitting light pole in Rochester

ROCHESTER - A Sanbornville man was charged with driving under the influence after police say he hit a light pole with his pickup truck on Wednesday night.

The collision happened at Rochester Crossing on Washington Street around 11:30 p.m. Police identified David Tebordo, 44, as the driver. He was behind the wheel of a Dodge Dakota pickup but was not injured. The truck and the light pole, however, suffered significant damage, according to police.

Tebordo was charged with DUI and conduct after an accident. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Rochester District Court on April 18.
