Dozens of Sparkling Cider blends recalled due to glass shards on bottles

WATSONVILLE, Calif. - A nationwide recall has been issued for mini glass bottles of Martinelli sparkling cider.

S. Martinelli & Company voluntarily recalled the 8.4 oz. mini bottles of sparkling cider due to reports of small glass chips at the top of the bottles that could potentially cut a person opening the bottle.

The recall includes: Gold Medal Sparkling Cider, Sparkling Cider Northwest Blend, Sparkling White Grape and Sparkling Red Grape that have a 'Best Before' date after March 1, 2018 but before September 12, 2018.

Anyone who has purchased the product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
