PORTSMOUTH - Dozens of caged dogs and cats appeared to escape injury when a Maine humane society bus carrying them rolled over on Interstate 95.
The driver of the van wasn't hurt, but his passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. near Exit 6 on the northbound side.
The van rolled onto it's side.
The SPCA was called in to assist local police and firefighters get the animals to safety.
