Dozens of animals adopted during NH SPCA Black Friday sale

STRATHAM — Dozens of animals will be spending the holidays in a new home after an annual Black Friday adoption event at the New Hampshire SPCA.

Employees and volunteers for the NHSPCA encouraged people to use the unofficial holiday to help a pet in need.

People began lining up at 6 a.m. and there was a steady line throughout the day.

On average the event successfully places 40-50 animals in loving homes. The one day deal allowed adopters to set their own price on adult dogs and cats.

If you missed the event, don't worry, the NH SPCA is open Saturday from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.
