Dozens evacuated from Dover apartment building after 3-alarm fire


DOVER— Dozens of people were displaced after a three-alarm fire in Dover early Monday morning.

All 24 units at 47 New Rochester Rd. were evacuated as smoke filled the building just before 2 a.m. The fire started inside a basement unit.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it believed to have started by an unattended candle. Nobody was injured.
