Dover sex offender arrested after police say he didn't report email address

DOVER - A city man was arrested on Thursday for failing to comply with online sexual offender registration laws.

38-year-old Eric Kingsley of 178 Central Ave. was required to report all email addresses and online identifications to his local police department after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a child in California in 2000, and another sexual assault in Washington in June.

Dover police investigated Kingsley beginning Monday after learning that Kingsley had been using an email address which he had not reported to the police.

He was released on $2,500 bail, and was scheduled to appear in the 7th Circuit Court of Dover on July 13.
