Dover drug sweep nets 11 arrests - 9 involving heroin - after 2-month investigation

DOVER — The Dover Police Department arrested 11 people on drug charges following a two-month long investigation in the city.

“While we need to work hard to prevent and treat drug abuse, we also have to vigorously enforce our laws. Bringing many law enforcement assets together is an effective way to do this," Chief Anthony Colarusso said.

The arrests involved several types of drugs including heroin, crack-cocaine, marijuana and pills.

The arrests

Richard M. Folger, 31, of 27 Liberty Circle Milton, NH, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, heroin. Folger was arrested on September 8 at 7:07 p.m. He was released on $1500 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court on September 26, 2016.

Isaiah N. Johnson, 36, of 1 Flanders Court Dover, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, crack cocaine, and felon in possession of dangerous weapon, a large knife with a curved blade and metal spikes. Johnson was arrested on September 20 at 1:38 p.m. and waived the services of a bail commissioner. He was arraigned on September 21 in Strafford County Superior Court and released on $2500 cash or surety
bond.

Trevor S. Long, 27, of 73 Rutland Street Dover, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, heroin. Long was arrested on September 29 at 7:16 p.m. and released on $1000 personal recognizance bail. Long
was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court on October 14.

Drew R. Ash, 30, of 33 Hough Street Dover, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, heroin. Ash was arrested on October 13 at 6:30 p.m. and released on $2500 personal recognizance bail. He was
scheduled to appear for arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court on October 24.

Kate E. McLaughlin, 29, of 10 Redden Street Dover, was charged with misdemeanor transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle. The drug in the vehicle was heroin. McLaughlin was arrested on November 10 at
11 a.m. and was released on $2000 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear for arraignment in the 7th Circuit District Division Dover on February 27, 2017 at 8 a.m.

Glenn Y. Smith, 30, of 41 Belknap Street apartment 1 Dover, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, heroin, and electronic bench warrant, misdemeanor. Smith was arrested on October 27 at 9 p.m. and was arraigned in Strafford County Superior Court the following morning where he was released on $5000 personal recognizance bail.

Matthew S. Gagnon, 35, of 3 Russell Street Rochester, NH, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, heroin, and felony possession of controlled drug clonazepam. Gagnon was arrested on October 27 at
9 p.m. and was released on $2000 personal recognizance bail. Gagnon was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Strafford Superior Court on November 10.

Randell K. Peters, 24, of 14 Atkinson Street Dover, was charged with felony sale of controlled drug, heroin. Peters was arrested on November 9 at 4:07 p.m. and refused the services of a bail commissioner. Peters was arraigned on November 10, and was held on $10,000 cash bail.

Jeremy F. Rosario, 26, of 273 Lita Lane Newmarket, NH, was charged with misdemeanor possession of controlled drug, marijuana. Rosario was arrested on November 14 at 7:30 p.m. He was released on $1000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment in the 7th Circuit District Division Dover on February 27, 2017 at 8 a.m.

Hannah B. Nappi, 21, of 39 Hancock Street Farmington, NH, was charged with felony possession of controlled drug, heroin. Nappi was arrested on November 16, at 9 a.m. and was released on $2500 personal recognizance bail. Nappi is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court on November 29.

Ronnie W. Pitts, 32, of 35 Belknap Street apartment 3, Dover, was charged with felony sale of controlled drug, heroin. Pitts was arrested on November 17 at 10:30 a.m. and was released on $2500 personal recognizance bail. Pitts is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court on November 29, 2016 at 9 a.m.
