Don't let NH's sunny day fool you, strong winds are wreaking havoc

The sunny day might fool someone who has been sitting inside all day, but winds are strong throughout the Granite State.

Trees are down and causing power outages, and brush fires are spreading after winds have reached 35-40 mph.

Eversource has reported that at one point, nearly 10,000 people lost power after a tree fell on some lines. As of 3 p.m., 1,687 were still without power. Unitil has an outage on the Seacoast affecting 353 people.

Stay tuned to NH1 News for more details as they become available.
