DOVER — Details surrounding the double murders in Farmington were revealed Tuesday afternoon during a bail hearing for the man accused of stabbing Christine Sullivan and Jenna Pellegrini to death in January.

Timothy Verrill allegedly stabbed Sullivan in the heart, lungs and neck. Pellegrini was stabbed over 40 times in the neck, torso and back.

After killing the women on Jan. 27, police say Verrill wrapped the bodies up and placed them outside under a tarp. Then he buried three knives outside the house which belongs to Dean Smoronk, Sullivan's boyfriend, who is an alleged meth dealer.

State Police Sergeant Brian Strong testified Tuesday that Verrill and Smoronk were in contact with each other after the killings, but when Smoronk called the police after returning home from Florida on Jan. 29, he said he thought Sullivan might be missing and that something bad may have happened to her.

The bail hearing for Verrill will be continued to Sept. 6.
