Despite brush fires, NH Division of Forests and Land reports spending half of 2015 costs

The NH Division of Forests and Lands tells NH1 News that despite recent brush fire danger, they have spent about half the costs of last year.

Estimates for this year so far are around $100,000-150,000.

So far this year, brush fires have burned about 300 acres.

Last year, brush fires burned about 500 acres in the state.

Brush fire season also started later last year because of more snow coverage.
