Derry Police searching for missing NH dog, warn residents not to approach

DERRY — Derry Police is investigating sightings of a German Shepard believed to be a missing East Hampstead dog.

Rambo was reported missing on Jan. 12.

Derry Police believes they have sighted Rambo in the areas of Drew Woods, Conley's Grove and the Brookstone Complex on Route 111.

Police are cautioning residents to be on the lookout for Rambo, but to avoid contact with him. They ask everyone not to search on foot or call out to the dog.

Rambo is considered shy, but would likely react with aggression if cornered or chased, police said.

Anyone who spots the German Shepard is asked to contact the Derry Police Department at 603-432-6111 or Granite State Recovery at 855-639-5678.
