Derry man arrested in Hooksett with stolen vehicle

HOOKSETT - Police arrested a 34-year-old parolee with a stolen green Volvo stolen out of Manchester.

Officers found the car in a parking lot on the Londonderry Turnpike and noticed Joshua McKinnon of Derry and a woman inside acting suspicious. The officer found the car had two different license plates attached and neither came back to a registered the Volvo. The vehicle's identification number was run and came back to a Volvo stolen out of Manchester in October 2015.

McKinnon was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. McKinnon was on parole and the parole office placed a 72-hour hold on him. McKinnon was transported to the Merrimack County Jail.

He was bailed on $10,000 personal recognizance and is expected in court on June 14.
