The Patriots are the team that has everyone talking on social media-unfortunately, most of it's for what's going on off the field.
"Deflategate" escalated on Wednesday. First, ESPN reported that 11 of the 12 balls checked by officials at halftime of Sunday's Pats-Colts game were under-inflated. Then, NBC Sports reported that the balls WERE checked by officials before the game, then were found to be under-inflated at halftime, suggesting something nefarious went on during the first half of the game. On top of that, the Colts apparently complained about this issue before.
All of this is getting some strong reactions on social media. We took a sample of what's being said-from the confused, to the haters, to the defenders, straight through the conspiracy theorists and attempts at humor.
