Deflategate: A timeline of events in Patriots scandal

Here's a look back at a timeline of events that have happened throughout the Deflategate investigation.

It all started on January 20.

That's when the NFL finds the Patriots used underinflated footballs during the AFC championship game.

Then, on January 26, a Patriots locker room attendant is investigated for Deflategate allegations

A bold statement on January 27, when Kraft says he wants an apology from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell if his team is exonerated.

February 20, the Indianapolis Colts general manager alerts the NFL to concerns, but wouldn't specify to the media exactly what those concerns involved.

On April 28, 100 days in to the investigation, Roger Goodell says he expects the findings in the report to be made public soon.

That brings us to May 6, where a report released says the Patriots “probably” deflated footballs and that Tom Brady was "at least generally aware" that the balls were being deflated.
