Dartmouth to launch community survey

HANOVER — Dartmouth students, faculty and staff are being urged to take part in a community survey as part of President Phil Hanlon's "Moving Dartmouth Forward" initiative.
The online survey, which will be available from Oct. 6 to Nov. 3, will ask participants about the learning, working and living climate at the Ivy League school. All responses will be anonymous, and the college will share the results along with recommendations in the spring.
The survey is part of the initiative Hanlon announced in January to combat problems he says were "hijacking" the school's promise: high-risk drinking, sexual assault and a lack of inclusion.
