Dartmouth professor pleads guilty to more child pornography charges

CONCORD - A Dartmouth College professor has pleaded guilty to uploading images of child pornography to an online bulletin board from his home - his second guilty plea in under a week.

John Martin Favor, 49 of Plainfield pleaded guilty on Thursday to possessing videos depicting child sex abuse. Monday, in addition, Favor pleaded guilty to not only having explicit videos but to having images of child pornography as well.

In September 2015, police found hundreds of videos and images of child pornography on Favor’s personal computer.

In all, the charges to which Favor pleaded guilty to each carry a maximum sentence of 10 years behind bars.

Favor is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
