Daniel Webster Council of Boy Scouts hosting off-road 5k in Gilmanton Ironworks


GILMANTON IRON WORKS - The Daniel Webster Council of the Boy Scouts of America is hosting a race on the dirt roads of the Belknap Mountain Range to support scouting camp programs for young men and women of ages 11 to 21.

The event will be held on the Griswold Scout Reservation at Eileen Shore Road in Gilmanton Iron Works on May 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three finishing male and female runners at a victory bonfire following the race.

In addition to a $25 registration fee, participants can offer optional donations of $50, $100, $175 and $250.

The registration fee also covers a souvenir t-shirt.
