MANCHESTER - Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms on Webster Street. Police say the suspect passed a note to the clerk demanding money. The suspect then lifted his shirt and showed what appeared to be a dark colored handgun in his waistband.
The man, pictured by surveillance cameras, got away with some money and then took off on foot. This intersection is no stranger to crime.
There have been two different convenience stores have been robbed here in the past two days. Police are taking notice.
"We are trying to get the officers to stop at all the stores and do business checks where they can talk with the store owners to make sure they know that we're out there," Officer Mark Ampuja said.
Officers are investigating if the two robberies are related. If anyone has information regarding either robbery they are urged to call police.
