LEBANON — Lebanon police officers were called to a shoplifting incident at a K-Mart on Thursday by a loss prevention officer.
The K-Mart loss prevention officer told police that a woman stole items from the store and then hopped into a black sedan and drove away.
Officers in the area caught the car as it left the K-Mart Plaza and found the woman sitting in the back seat of the vehicle.
Police identified the woman as Carmel Parker of Brattleboro, Vermont.
Parker was arrested and charged with class B felony theft and was discovered to have an active warrant out by Keene district court for failing to appear on a previous theft charge.
