Police: 2 Plainfield residents arrested after murder for hire investigation

PLAINFIELD — Two people were arrested Thursday following an extensive murder for hire investigation, police said.
N.H. State Police and Plainfield police said they arrested Maurice Temple, 63, and Pauline Chase, 83, who both live together in Plainfield, and charged each with conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit murder, and attempt to commit murder.
The two are scheduled to be arraigned in Claremont District Court at 11 a.m. on Friday.
