Peeping Tom Arrested After Looking in Windows of Home Near Middle School
DURHAM - Durham police say on Nov. 12 a man was arrested for looking into women's windows on Coe Drive.
Police began their investigation after receiving a report that a "peeping tom" was in the area. Through surveillance videos they discovered a man named Joshua Daigle, 44, of Haverhill, Massachusetts visited 8 Coe Drive on five separate occasions. Each time, he peeped into the residence windows and at least one time fled the scene when police arrived on the scene, police said.
8 Coe Drive is across the street from Oyster River Middle School and not far from the University of New Hampshire campus.
Durham Police report that Daigle has been charged with five counts of invasion of privacy, five counts of loitering and prowling, five counts of criminal trespass and one count of resisting arrest/detention.
Daigle has been banned from the town of Durham and was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.
He will be arraigned at the 7th Circuit Court-Dover Division on 01/25/18, at 8:30 a.m.
