NH Couple Forgets Their Turn Signal and Ends Up in Police Custody
MANCHESTER — A woman and man were arrested for drug possession after they failed to use their turn signal, police said.
Colleen Boyd, 49, of Manchester, and Leroy Kear, 30, of Manchester, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug.
Detectives say they witnessed a car failing to use a turn signal on Russell Street on Thursday night and stopped the car.
After Boyd got out of the car, the detectives noticed a small bag containing a rock-like substance on the ground, police said. The detectives believed the substance to be crack cocaine.
Boyd and Kear were arrested and charged after the detectives found 0.1 grams of crack cocaine on Kear, police said.
Boyd was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court North on Feb. 1.
Kear was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court North on Friday.
