Nashua man charged with stealing from several unlocked cars
NASHUA — A man was arrested after police said he stole items from several unlocked cars.
Nashua police said they received several reports of thefts early Sunday morning.
Later that day, police said they made contact with a person matching the description of the suspect and learned he was in possession of several of the stolen items.
Police arrested Eric Violette, 33, of Nashua, for two counts of receiving stolen property, a class B felony, and one count of loitering and prowling, a violation.
Police said because Violette had two prior theft convictions on his criminal record, his charges were upgraded to a class B felony.
Violette is being held on $5,000 cash bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and was arraigned at the Hillsborough County South Superior Court - South on Monday.
