Marijuana 'Gardners' of Merrimack Arrested for 'Sophisticated' Grow Operation, Police Say
MERRIMACK — Two people are accused of having a "sophisticated" marijuana growing operation at their home using specialized watering, lighting and ventilation systems.
On Jan. 31, police executed a search warrant at 28 Peter Road after receiving information that the people who lived in the home were growing marijuana.
During the search, officers found a growing operation as well as a large quantity of harvested marijuana and other suspected controlled drugs that are being tested at the state's forensic lab, police said.
Police arrested 38-year-old Joseph Gardner and 39-year-old Kimberly Gardner and charged them with manufacturing a controlled drug, possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled drug and common nuisances.
Both were arraigned at Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua on Feb. 1.
