EXETER — A former Exeter High School counselor, who was indicted on four sexual assault charges in May, faces three new indictments.
A Strafford County grand jury handed down two more counts of felonious sexual assault and one additional count of aggravated felonious sexual assault for Kristie Torbick, 37, of Lee. The charges occurred during the time that Torbick provided therapy for a student at Exeter High School.
While treating the student, Torbick allegedly engaged in sexual penetration multiple times with the child who was younger than 16 years old at the time.
She was placed on paid administrative leave Jan. 26 but resigned days after her arrest.
Torbick's arraignment for these new charges is scheduled to take place Aug. 3 at 12:30 p.m. in Strafford County Superior Court.
