1 Bra, Some Heroin, an Overdose and 2 Female Inmates Arrested
MANCHESTER — A drug overdose at Hillsborough County House of Corrections led to the arrest of two female inmates.
On Tuesday around 5 p.m., the Hillsborough County House of Corrections reported a drug overdose.
The overdose involved a female inmate identified as 25-year-old Samantha Rintala-Weith.
At the time of the drug overdose, Rintala-Weith was inside of a holding cell with other inmates.
One of the other inmates identified as 41-year-old Rose Rosales, 41, of Manchester gave heroin to Rintala-Weith earlier in the day in the holding cell, police said.
A small amount of heroin fell from Rintala-Weith’s bra after the incident was investigated, police said.
Rosales was charged with possession of controlled drugs and was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Wednesday.
Rintala-Weith was scheduled to appear in Manchester district court for violation of bails conditions and Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Wednesday for delivery of articles prohibited.
Manchester police originally arrested Rintala-Weith on Monday for two counts of possession of a controlled drug (heroin and crack-cocaine), receiving stolen property and a warrant issued out of Hooksett.
