Credit card fraud convict walks away from Concord transitional house


CONCORD - A woman serving 1 1/2 to 4 years in prison for credit card fraud walked away from the Shea farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord on Wednesday, police say.

Tara Lee Monsante of Canaan was signed out for work at 8:09 a.m. and did not return when she was supposed to at 7 p.m.

Half an hour later, she was placed on walkaway status.

Anyone with information on Monsante should please contact their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
